What's Your Favorite Brew?

Hey Blasters! I'd like to ask you all what your favorite brew is! I think this is a fantastic way for all of us to learn some new brews to try! So post in the comment section a little about your favorite brew! I'll start off with mine!

So far, my all time favorite brew is Moose Drool! Sounds funny right? Even though my favorite type of beer is still the American Pale Ale, this one still tops my list on favorite brews. Really when you think about it, it's all personal preference. I have a good friend of mine who swears by Pabst Blue Ribbon! Each person is different so their tastes will be different! Well here is a little about it.

Maker: Big Sky
Label: Moose Drool
Type: Brown Ale
ABV: 5.1%
IBU: 26

Label description: "Moose Drool is the world' premier brown ale. For a dark beer it is extremely drinkable and an excellent complement to most foods. Four different malts are used in this brew. We also do four hop additions consisting of a combination of east kent goldings, liberty, and willamette."

Why I like it: Well this dark chocolate brown ale is just simply delicious! It is ridiculously smooth and creamy but with just enough hops to make sure it isn't sickly sweet. I love being able to drink a few of these in a night without getting sick of them! It is extremely malty brewed with pale, caramel, chocolate, and whole black malts. You can definitely taste the chocolate and caramel while getting that hint of hoppy spice. It smells delicious in a glass and like the label says it is perfect with most foods! I usually get my Moose on when I am at Yard House restaurant enjoying a big juicy burger! As you can tell by the IBU's, this isn't anything to be afraid of. It is dark, rich, and delicious! Big Sky did a fantastic job on this one and they have other great brews that all you Blasters should check out!

A little twist: if you want to try something with a twist. Do half pint Moose Drool mixed with a half pint of your favorite hard cider! Sounds funny right? I love it with Angry Orchard! You will get some strange looks when you order it, but I promise you won't be disappointed! I won't tell you too much about it because I want you to try it for yourself!

So now it's your turn to post your favorite brew!
