Only poured part of it but what a great looking brew!
Aroma: Beautiful floral hop aroma, just like expected.

Look: Clear, golden, with a great head on it.

First Sip: Bitter. The first thought that went through my head is bitter. Not a bad bitter. A great hoppy bitter. Slight citrus hit, with a faint malty flavor, followed by a bountiful cascade of hops! What do you know, there are Cascade hops in it. Actually, 4 different types of hops call this brew home. That is why you get that floral hoppy flavor. Cascade, Chinook, Citra, and Simcoe hops make up a great bouquet of aromas and flavors. Nicely carbonated. Not flat after sitting, which is nice.

Middle of the Blast: I am a Pale Ale lover and I definitely could make this a staple in my pantry. Interestingly, I am getting more citrus notes the more I drink. Half-tempted to drop a slice of orange in there, but alas, I do not have one. Still perfectly carbonated even after getting through half. Lost the malty flavor, so that’s a slight disappointment. Like traditional Pale Ales, the hops are the star of this brew. I think there could be more depth of flavor, but I am not going to complain about it.

Last Sip: Still pretty good!! However, I am noticing a bit more of the depth of this brew! There are other flavors that are coming out. I enjoy my beer, and sometimes more than one! However, with this particular brew, 12 ounces would have been sufficient and I would have been happier. Poor choice on my part, so I won't take it out on the beer.

Overall: Solid Pale Ale. Very hoppy, but in a good way. I would definitely add this to my rotation. However, there are some things I didn't like about it. Not the best beer, but in no way, shape, or form is it a bad beer.

Rating: ***1/2 Gotta go with a 3.5 with this one. It isn't perfect, but hey who is! It is definitely a solid contender in the running for a great APA, but just can't give it that extra 1/2 star.
